Little Shopper's Shoppe

Attention All Shoppers!!

The holiday season is almost here.  Students will be given the opportunity to buy gifts for their family members as well as for themselves at the CSA's annual Little Shopper's Shoppe!   Please make sure envelopes with money are labeled with your child's name.  It is also helpful to have a list of those people you want your child to shop for!  Our class will attend the Little Shopper's Shoppe on Tuesday, December 14th!

Holiday Fun

We have three upcoming holiday fun days!  We would love some help with donating items for these days!  Here is what we need!

December 20th: We will be rotating to each kindergarten room.  We will do an activity in each room.  Our classroom is the snack room.  When each class comes to our room, they will be making a Christmas tree out of an ice cream cone, some icing, and maybe even some sprinkles.  We will also need to have a drink!  Any donations of ice cream cones (pointed at the end), icing, sprinkles/little candies, juice, cups, and small plates would be greatly appreciated!!  Remember... we will actually be doing this activity with around 110 students!

December 21st:  Polar Express and Pajama Day!!!  Thanks to all who have donated for this day so far.  We could still use one box of hot chocolate packets and one more box of microwave popcorn!!  That should do it!  We have plenty of marshmallows!

December 22nd: Last day of school before Winter Break!  We will be having our winter party on this day.  Stay tuned for updates on this and what we may need to help us celebrate!

Thank you so much for all of your support when it comes to sending items in!  We couldn't do it without you!

Happy Hanukkah!

Our friend Aaron, in Mrs. Holt and Mrs. Kelsey's room, is Jewish.  He celebrates Hanukkah.  His Mom and Dad (Mr. and Mrs. Epstein), came into all five kindergarten classes on Friday to teach us about Hanukkah.  We learned about the Menorah, the Yarmulke or Kippah, and of course we played the Dreidel Game with some Hanukkah Gelt!!  We had so much fun and learned a lot too!  Thanks again Mr. and Mrs. Epstein!  We appreciate the time you took out of your day to spend with us!

2 Millionaire Bucks

Klair and William both earned their second Millionaire Buck this past week!  They are constantly making good choices and being noticed by teachers!!  Great Job William and Klair!!

We found Gingy!!

Mrs. Edler's class had a gingerbread man named Gingy.  Gingy ran away for two days!!  We found Gingy running in the hall near our room and won the "missing cookie award" when we returned him!

The Gruffalo

The Gruffalo was on ABC Family Thursday night!  Thanks to Mia... we were able to read the book ahead of time on Wednesday!  Many kids came in Friday saying that they watched the show and it was a little different than the book!  If you missed it, you can go to the link below and watch, "The Gruffalo."  Ask your child how it is the same and how it is different from the book!
