Book Fair Next Week!!

Reminder!! Book Fair is next week! Tuesday is parent shopping from 9am-11am. Wednesday is Grandparents Lunch. Thursday is Family Night from 3pm-8pm!

We Need Your Spare Change!!

The Scholastic Book Fair for Cochran starts next week!  Here is the website:

We are also running a very fun program!  Send in a dollar with your child, or any spare change you may have, and help us raise money for new books!  The class that raises the most money will get to pick what Superhero Mr. Michaels will dress up as!!!  Read more information about the program below!!

One for Books® provides an easy and effective way to unite the school community and provide more books for kids and teachers. All funds collected through One for Books are used to buy more books from the Book Fair. Funds can be used to: Give more students a chance to participate in the Book Fair. Add books to the school library. Help teachers add more books to their classroom shelves. Donate to another school or community organization that could use more books.

Pizza Hut Book-It Program!!

Don't Forget... There are just a few days left to turn in your green Book-It form for October!  Look and see how many kids have already read five books and received there first free pizza coupon!!

Trick or Treating at the Mall #2

Olivia was also at the mall trick or treating with her family.  Here is Olivia in her police officer uniform and her brother Domanick as Elmo!!  They were having a fun time!

I saw Jordan and her family trick or treating at the mall last night!  She would not say hi to me... but I took her picture for our blog anyway!  I loved her cheerleader uniform!!

Thank You Miss McQuown!

Miss McQuown bought us a box of rainbow fish for snack time! We loved them! We worked hard writing her a thank you note!

White Boards!

We love practicing what we have learned on our white boards...especially when Miss Bennett gives us 3 minutes on the timer at the end to do anything we want!!

We are sooo excited to go to the Community Arts Center this Friday for our first field trip!!!  Thank you Mrs. Beiter, our friends at the CAC, and the Williamsport Lycoming Community Foundation for working so hard to make sure all of our Cochran kindergarten students can enjoy this great opportunity!!

The Berenstain Bears have enchanted young readers for generations. Now, Matt Murphy Productions presents a fun-filled new musical that weaves together three of Stan and Jan Berenstain's most popular books: The Berenstain Bears Learn about Strangers, The Berenstain Bears and Too Much Junk Food and The Berenstain Bears' Trouble at School.

There's trouble in the treehouse... Brother Bear has trouble with a school quiz, so he hides it in the cookie jar. Sister Bear makes friends with a frog and hides it in the cookie jar. Papa has been eating candy when he's supposed to be on a diet, and the wrapper ends up in the cookie jar... It's up to Mama to follow the cookie trail and sort things out!

We go outside for recess everyday... even when it is chilly! Please bring a coat to school EVERYDAY!
